Summer and Paxton’s wedding day was a quintessential Fall day at The Sutherland in Wake Forest with lots of fun installation elements that we thoroughly enjoyed bringing to life. When we originally met with Summer, she shared with us lots of opinions Paxton had about the floral color palette. We love when our grooms get involved! The blush & burgundy palette is really popular for our Fall brides, but Summer and Paxton wanted some blues and peaches mixed in to add interest, and we love the outcome.
We brought their palette to life with a lovely mix of locally grown deep burgundy dahlias, Cappuccino and Juliet roses, dark red ranunculus, and light blue delphinium. For the foliage, wine-colored weigela and silvery blue dusty miller perfectly complemented this contrasting palette. A lush floral arbor provided a romantic backdrop for the ceremony, and two large floral chandeliers were impactful in the reception space. Thanks to the team at The Sutherland for being so helpful as we brought Summer & Paxton’s vision to life – it’s always an adventure using a scissor lift!
Summer and Paxton – you two and your crew looked absolutely gorgeous on your wedding day. Thank you for trusting Wylde!
