How gorgeous are these two? It was such a pleasure bringing Lisa & Nick’s floral vision to life on 10.5.18 at The Merrimon-Wynne House. They have a really confident sense of style and romance as a couple, which made the whole process effortless and fun for us. We need a wedding each Fall where we buy local Cafe au Lait Dahlias by the bucketload, and this wedding quenched that thirst! We love these dahlias combined with Cappuccino Roses, deep burgundy Ninebark, layers of whites and greens, and playful, textural Scabiosa Pods. A mix of tall brass stand arrangements, marbled compote vessels, and concrete urns lended an interesting mix of levels and materials to the overall design that we were able to repurpose from the ceremony to the reception.
