This is our third post on the Sourced Workshop back in August of 2018, but in case you missed it, this was the first of what we hope will be many collaborative workshops for wedding planners, stylists and photographers looking to build confidence and collaborate with other blossoming wedding professionals. The workshop was created by Amanda Honeycutt of Amanda Blair by Design, Stephanie Cisko of Viva L’Event, and Lauren Watson of Lion House Creative. This team of powerhouse women bring incredibly positive energy to the wedding industry, and we’re jazzed each time we get to contribute to their work. These images from Alison Kuhn Photography capture the details of the day so beautifully. You can see more of this shoot in Winter/Spring 2019 issue of The Carolina’s Magazine.
We really enjoyed working with the sophisticated palette of textural whites and neutrals with hints of peach and mauve, and thoughtful blue details. We often think of summer color palettes as necessitating rich color, but found that working with more whites in summer is a lot of fun due to the variety of awesome texture available. Lots of locally grown flowers shone in these arrangements: dahlias and ninebark from Piedmont Wholesale Flowers, hydrangea and lisianthus from Happy as a Coneflower Farm, and our favorite zinnias, chocolate lace flower, and celosia from the garden.
