Molly and Tom celebrated their marriage on a perfect spring day – April 6, 2019. We share some mutual friends with the Bride, and she came to us seeking unique, delicate spring florals in shades of white, pastel pink and icy blue. She knew she didn’t want her bouquet to look like everyone else’s on Pinterest; we love working with Brides who aren’t looking for cookie cutter, and Molly’s vision gave us a fun creative opportunity to reinterpret a classically Southern spring color palette. Molly’s flowers were a nice balance of soft and textural — peonies, roses, flowering dogwood, butterfly ranunculus and hellebores were the focus, while blue thistle, muscari, astilbe and lilac added depth and interest. When Molly & Tom first came to us for a consultation, their clear affection for each other was endearing, and that joyfulness can be felt through these beautiful photographs by Mina Von Feilitzsch. Thank you Molly & Tom for choosing us to help you celebrate and create something out of the ordinary for you — and for giving us an opportunity to do our first wedding at the stunning Umstead Hotel.
