This styled shoot from August of 2019 was a truly satisfying experience in collaboration. Alexia Crossman of Wiley Events Co is one of our former wedding clients (find Alexia & Corey’s wedding here) who recently started her own wedding planning business. We were thrilled to hear Alexia was starting this business; throughout her own planning process she was impeccably organized and always had a clear vision & a plan for how to achieve it. Alexia also has a keen eye for color and materials – a refreshing mix of modern minimalist and playfully sophisticated. She has what it takes to guide couples through what can be a stressful process in a seamless and successful way.

We were honored to work with Alexia and photographer Heather Beerman on this Wiley Events shoot intended to exemplify the personality of the brand. We chose a textural mix of summer flowers, both fresh and dried, in shades of blush, terracotta and cream, with a bit of moody shadow created by the foliage. Our materials included lisianthus, gomphrena, statice, yarrow, spray rose, carnation, bleached ruscus, ninebark, bunnytail grass, and umbrella fern. We hope these images provide some inspiration for a sophisticated, elegant take on summer color utilizing predominantly locally-grown materials.
