FAQ

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

We no longer have a retail shop in our new location, therefore our hours are by appointment only. Our phone hours are between 10 am and 3 pm Tuesday through Friday. If you would like to get in touch with us after hours, please send us an email at info@wylde.co

DO YOU DO DELIVERIES?

We sure do! Our delivery zone is within a 7-mile radius of our studio in East Raleigh. Delivery service is available Tuesday through Friday. If no one is home to receive your delivery at that time, we will place your order in a visible shady location. We make only one delivery attempt, so please make sure someone will be home or available to receive your order if you do not wish to have it left outside. Sorry, we cannot accommodate same-day requests and ask that you please give us 48 hours to create your order. We charge a flat $10 rate for all deliveries. You can also pick-up any order from our studio in Fridays between 11am and 2pm.

HOW DO I ORDER AN ARRANGEMENT?

If you would like to place a floral order, you can do so through our online shop. We organize our available arrangements by vessel. Since our supply of flowers changes daily and is seasonal, we are not able to guarantee specific flowers or colors. Our turnaround time for arrangements is 48 hours. We cannot guarantee same day pick-up for your order and do not offer same day delivery. All of these parameters ensure we can create the freshest, most unique seasonal florals for you.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FLOWERS?

All of our delivery and pick-up flowers we use are from our Wylde garden or from local growers. We use locally grown flowers for their freshness, outstanding variety, and uncommon beauty. Getting to know and supporting the farmers behind the region’s most beautiful flowers through weekly seasonal purchasing at Piedmont Wholesale Flowers, and directly through several other farmers is our passion. We also tend our own cutting garden just a few miles from our studio where we produce hundreds of stems per week, using ecologically sound and organic practices, from March to October. For larger events and weddings, we purchase regularly from a handful of wholesalers who ship flowers from all over the world; ordering through a wholesaler ensures predictable supply no matter the weather and during the winter, and helps us meet demand for high quantities of flowers during wedding season and around holidays. If you’re interested in your floral order or wedding flowers containing predominantly locally grown flowers, we’d love to help you meet this goal; reach out to info@wylde.co to chat with us about accessing locally grown flowers for your daily life or special occassion.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING BOOKING PROCESS?

We love designing for weddings! Before you reach out to us we request you fill out our wedding inquiry form so that we have an idea of your vision and budget before we speak. We’ll get in touch with you shortly after we receive your request. Please note that certain times of the year are busier than others, but we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. If we’re available on your wedding date, we’ll arrange a consultation with you and your necessary party to discuss the details of your floral design. It helps if you bring any inspirational photos or color palettes with you so we can maximize our time together. After your consultation, we put together a proposal which we share with you. Because every wedding is unique and the price of flowers vary, we do not have set prices or packages for our floral designs. However, we do offer two services for all weddings—Full-service or Pick-up. Our Full-Service option starts at $4,000. We can accommodate smaller budgets by purchasing from our A La Carte menu on our online shop only.

HOW DO I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER FOR AN EVENT?

For all events that fall out of our wedding minimum, we have created an A La Carte menu on our  online shop. With four curated color palettes and a straightforward menu of floral offerings to choose from, our A La Carte service makes floral ordering effortless for weddings and events with modest budgets and wish lists. Our color palettes have been designed to give us plenty of creativity to work with the ethereal beauty of each season, and to operate more sustainably through local and regional sourcing as much as possible. These packages are not customizable within the color palettes we’ve offered (for example, no requests for specific flowers or colors – just choose the colorway you feel best suits your style and trust us to do our thing). Your florals will be made to order, featuring locally and sustainably grown blooms as much as possible, and packaged by us for easy transport. Pickup may be arranged the day of or the day before your event (we recommend the day of, so flowers can stay in our cooler as long as possible, especially in Summer). We require three weeks’ lead time to fulfill A La Carte orders.

ARE YOUR FLOWERS REAL?

Believe it or not, this is our most popular question. YES, we only use real flowers. All the blooms and greens you see in our photos are 100% REAL.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY FLOWERS?

Cut flowers last longest when they are kept in a cool shady spot, so pick a place in your home that is suitable to their needs. Pour more water in the vase if the water level gets low. If your vase is not clear you can test the water level by sticking your finger in the arrangement—the water line should be about an inch below the rim of the vessel. You can also mist your flowers with a spray bottle to keep them from drying out if your home or office is very dry.

WHY DIDN’T MY FLOWERS LAST VERY LONG?

Thankfully, we don’t get this question very often. Unfortunately, flowers are perishable items and certain varieties don’t last as long as others. The longevity of the flowers can be affected by a variety of factors. Some of these factors include the temperature of a room, the amount of direct sunlight and the moisture (or lack there-of) in the air. Because we can’t control these factors after our flowers leave our shop, we don’t guarantee the shelf-life of our arrangements. We have found that most of our arrangements will last about a week, with certain stems out-lasting others.
